Hitachi rated it at 75 watts per channel and its so underrated its laughable. I have had this amp for years. I was the original owner. Yep. Along with the 8500 mk2, it's one of my favorites. You get a nearly all-FET design, good cartridge loading options (including one perfectly suited to my DL-110 cartridge), and, because relatively few pay attention to Hitachi audio components, a low price on the used market.
