The Setting up the Time Capsule was easy. I now got it up and running with my Mac, but connecting it to my Windows computer is a different story. I just won't connect! I am using tikona broadband internet and they usually have a 5 IP address restriction. I managed to by pass that by using a linksys router WRT120N . I setup the router to distribute IP addresses as 192.168.1.2-20. However, when i am connecting my new time capsule, it seems to distribute IPs from DHCP as 10.x.x.2 onwards only. I have had to do that many times especially with some cable providers. I read several discussions on Apple's Forums and no, The Time Capsule nor the Airport Extreme offer MAC Address Cloning. Apple - Support - Discussions - clone mac address Hi, I need to find out my time-capsule's mac-address to allow it on my network (ethernet mac-address). I found some answers to that question but unfortunatly with the old version of airport utility.

Oct 16, 2011 · Mac Extraordinaire : It is never a good idea to have two devices on the same network in charge of IP address allocation and routing. In your case, if you wish to continue using that Time Capsule, your best option is to set up a second router as a network switch/wireless access point.
